Week-long tour includes economic development talks with Korean Air, owners of Wilshire Grand Hotel, currently undergoing $1 billion investment with new hotel in Downtown

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 4, 2012) — Councilmember José Huizar joined State Senator Kevin De León on a week-long economic development and goodwill trip to South Korea last week where they met with a variety of business and government officials focused on hotel, renewable energy and entertainment investment opportunities in Los Angeles.

The trip was sponsored by the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles and beyond gaining a greater understanding of the Korean culture, its history and tradition, highlights of the trip include a meeting with Yang Ho Cho, Chairman of Korean Air, whose company also owns the Wilshire Grand Hotel Downtown.

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 4, 2012) — Councilmember José Huizar joined State Senator Kevin De León on a week-long economic development and goodwill trip to South Korea last week where they met with a variety of business and government officials focused on hotel, renewable energy and entertainment investment opportunities in Los Angeles.

The trip was sponsored by the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles and beyond gaining a greater understanding of the Korean culture, its history and tradition, highlights of the trip include a meeting with Yang Ho Cho, Chairman of Korean Air, whose company also owns the Wilshire Grand Hotel Downtown.
