To address the ever-evolving uses and needs of Downtown Los Angeles, LADOT will be rolling out an updated DASH bus system, realigning routes and expanding service.
LADOT’s Transit Services Analysis took into consideration changes around Downtown Los Angeles such as new residential pockets and new employment growth in opportunity areas as well as the public input received to date.
Meet Growing Demands: The growing regional rail network and expanding bus rapid transit networks will also increase the demand for transit connectivity around the DASH. LADOT intends to improve regional connectivity by expanding the network of bus services in Downtown and across Los Angeles.
Optimize Resources: Insure that LADOT Transit is providing the right types and levels of service and at the most reasonable prices for riders and taxpayers.
Complement Other Transportation Initiatives: LADOT Transit’s future plans are tied to the expansive commitments made by the City of Los Angeles to Councilmember Huizar’s many DTLA FWD projects like streetscape improvements, bicycle lanes, and the Mayor’s Great Streets Program.
