Join Councilmember Huizar, USC and your neighbors to celebrate improvements coming to Hazard Park! In celebration of a major victory for Ramona Gardens and the Hazard Park community negotiated by Councilmember José Huizar, the University of Southern California, Los Angeles Recreation and Parks, the Hazard Park Preservation Committee and the L.A. Parks Foundation will join Huizar Saturday for a $1 million check presentation from the University to the community.
The planned park improvements include a new jogging/running path; upgrades to the park gym, outdoor basketball/tennis courts; new outdoor fitness equipment; a new toddler play area; additional security lighting and financial support for the park’s youth sports programs.
