In another effort to create a more multi-modal Los Angeles, Councilmember Huizar advocated for new DASH stops in the Arts District, a new DASH bus route in Boyle Heights, and extended service for all routes, including Northeast LA and El Sereno. The City’s DASH service provides essential first/last mile access and local mobility, particularly for low-income residents, youth, and older adults.
“Many residents requested expanded bus service, and we are happy to fill that need with an updated DASH route and extended service,” said Councilmember Huizar. “It’s a plus for local residents, as well as those who can now easily and affordably visit the district and still stay connected to the rest of the City.”
Council adopted the new agreement which extends evening hours of service for DASH service in downtown, extends hours of service
for all existing routes and adds weekend service to all DASH routes.

The new Arts District route includes stops at:

  • Molino Street/Palmetto Street
  • Palmetto Street west of Hewitt St. (location of the LADWP’s La Kretz Innovation Campus)
  • Alameda Street/4th Street
